Why did you choose to attend Brock:

I chose Brock because of their impressive run to the 2007-08 run to the National Championship in Moncton, and when I came down for a recruiting trip I fit in well with the guys on the team and really respected Murray Nystrom.
How long have you played hockey:

 I’ve played organized hockey since I was 5 but started at the community center across the street from my childhood home when I was about 4.
What got you started in hockey:

I always loved skating at a young age and idolized many NHL players. Although my older brother didn’t play organized hockey, he let me play street hockey with his friends which also helped develop my love for the game.
Highlights of your hockey career? Winning the Air Canada cup with my AAA Midget team in Brandon, as well as cracking the Brandon Wheat Kings line-up in my home town and of course getting back on the ice this past season with Brock after a devastating injury.
Who is your role model? Roberto Luongo and my father
Extracurricular Activities: Fishing, camping, hanging out with my family/friends, tubing/wake boarding and stay active.
Favourite food: I’ve been a sucker for Sushi lately but it puts me to sleep

Favourite Song: We went out last night- Kenny Chesney (tribute to Vince Scott)
Nickname: KuJo, Danger Cat, the Governor
Future Ambitions: Play professional hockey and hopefully open my own personal finance business
Parents/Siblings and what they do?

My father Wayne is a part owner of a drilling company back home, my mother Darla works as a receptionist at a dentist office in Brandon, my brother Derek is employed by the Vancouver Canucks as a journalist/web programmer, and my little sister Kim is in her third year of a Psychology degree here at Brock and is a goaltender with the Brock Women’s Hockey Team.
If you could travel any place in the world where would you go and why?

 I’d like to see more of Europe notably Germany, Italy and Sweden. I like to vacation in warm climates (like everyone) but I really enjoy meeting hockey players from other countries and seeing the hockey atmosphere’s overseas.
